Cabin at the Cavern

Cabin at the Cavern.  We stayed here for a week in January and got an amazing deal for a huge cabin.  We stayed January 21 - 26th.  It was the coldest week.  3 degrees outside.  And negative with windchill.  At night the cabin was so cold we slept in front of the fire every night, we never slept in any of the beds. We had our little baby wear 2 layers of clothes and a hat to bed in his pack n play which we covered in blankets.  I'm sure during normal weather, it's not that extreme.  During the day it was nice, and we even went in the hot tub the one day that it was 17 degrees and sunny.  This place is gorgeous, great view, working cable, awesome kitchen and for us, the best part, was the next door neighbors German Shepherd girl, who was like a long lost best friend for out German Shepherd boy; they played together all week and she was very well behaved; never barked, never came in the house. 

This was a 5 star ***** for us.
